Covid-19 Policies & Procedures.

Upon Entry- 

Before entering the COVID-19 section of our waiver must be submitted via your parent portal.

Please arrive about 5-10 minutes early for your class to begin the screening process. The screening will include a short questionnaire, temperature checks for both dancers & staff, and sanitation.

Anyone displaying symptoms of COVID-19, or anyone who has had close contact with anyone with symptoms of COVID-19, will not be permitted in the studio.

Masks are required for everyone in hallways, washrooms and any common areas.  If a dancer has a pre-existing medical condition preventing them from wearing a mask, proper documentation must be provided. Once dancers are in the dance studio with their class cohort, dancers have the option to remove their mask. 

To prevent the spread of COVID-19, we will be following a strict pick-up/ drop-off protocol for ALL students. No parents or guests are permitted in the lobby. If you have a question or concern please call or email, our admin staff is more than happy to help.

We are minimizing the traffic in and out of the change rooms, so we ask all dancers to only bring their absolute necessities to class. Please leave dance bags in the car.

Dancers will create a line up in their designated class spot before the class and must wait until they are invited to enter the studio for class to start.

Cleaning-

We have increased our cleaning protocols daily at the studio. Daily deep cleaning will be enforced and sanitation on high contact areas in between each class.


Capacity-

Recreational classes will have a lower capacity of 9 dancers to ensure physical distancing. Competitive classes will be held in the larger studio which can hold 24 dancers but will have a capacity of 20 dancers to ensure everyone has more than enough room to physically distance. Each student will have a 6x6 ft square to dance within each studio.


Missed Classes-

If your dancer is feeling unwell we ask that you stay home. You can send us a quick email to let us know. If a dancer is unwell for a longer period of time we will discuss individually to figure out the best arrangement for each family.

In the case that the Provincial COVID-19 Pandemic Emergency Guidelines revert back to either Phase 1 or 2, we have plans to pivot immediately. Families that pay on a month to month basis, will have their payments paused and families that pay the year in full and receive the discount will be credited for when we return.
